Mr. Klein responded to questions raised on this issue on behalf of Mr. Snyder. One question was concerning the use of RFPs (Request for Proposals) and Mr. Snyder said that if the County were to use an existing vendor for a credit card service then an RFP is not necessary. The question related to additional fees, Mr. Snyder said again if the County uses an existing vendor there would be no additional fees.
Mr. Burbank said important information that would be learned through an RFP is the charge that would be applied to the individual using a credit card.
